Planning a storage gap
Use this request when belongings need storing between collection and onward delivery. Give the expected duration even if the return date is uncertain. If everything can travel straight to the destination, describe a removal rather than adding a storage stage.
List what needs to go into storage
Describe the furniture, boxes and other belongings, with dimensions for bulky items. Give the collection address and your expected storage duration. Tell us if the onward delivery address or date is still unknown.
Agree access and the return journey
Storage is a separate service from your move. We can book it with our partners and quote it by phone and email, typically 10-20% off the partner's rate; its price and terms are agreed with you before it starts. If you expect to retrieve items during storage, ask about appointments and access before you agree. Update the team when the return address and date are known.
Planning access in Swindon
For storage collection, describe the route from each room to the loading point. Include stairs, lift access and any large item that may need dismantling before it leaves the property.
Old Town loading and new-development directions
For Swindon Old Town, identify the loading point and the walk to the entrance. At Wichelstowe or Priory Vale, include full address or plot directions and describe shared drives. Give instructions for the last part of the approach.

Storage in Swindon: your questions
Do I need an onward delivery date before requesting storage?
Give the expected storage duration and explain what is still undecided. The team needs to confirm collection, storage and onward-delivery arrangements for your request.
Can I get to my belongings while they are stored?
Access depends on the store. Ask about appointments and the notice required before you agree to a storage plan.
